Description

Amlovas-AT Tablet combines Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Atenolol, a beta-blocker. Amlodipine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow, while Atenolol reduces heart rate and the force of heart contractions, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the heart’s workload. This dual action makes it effective in treating high blood pressure and preventing chest pain associated with angina.

Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Prevention and treatment of angina (chest pain)

• Support in chronic heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms

Dosage & Administration:

• Take as prescribed by your doctor.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Preferably take at the same time each day for consistent blood levels.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness, fatigue, headache

• Nausea, abdominal discomfort

• Slow heart rate, ankle swelling, constipation

• Sleepiness, visual disturbances, muscle cramps

• Flushing, breathlessness, skin rash

Precautions:
