How It Works

Ramipril (5 mg): An ACE inhibitor that prevents the formation of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels. By inhibiting this, Ramipril helps relax and widen blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes the heart muscles and blood vessels, further aiding in reducing blood pressure and improving blood flow.
Dosage & Administration

Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor. The initial recommended dose is one tablet of Cardace AM 2.5/5 mg once daily, which may be increased based on the patient’s response. Cardace AM 5/5 mg or Cardace AM 10/5 mg may be used for higher dosing. The maximum permitted daily dose of Ramipril is 10 mg, and the maximum recommended daily dose of Amlodipine is up to 10 mg.

Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. It’s advisable to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.
