CILACAR TM 25 TABLETS

Description

Composition:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): A beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel constriction.

Indications:

• Management of essential hypertension.

• Reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, angina, and arrhythmia.

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage: As prescribed by your physician.

• Administration: Take with food, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double up.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Headache

• Fatigue

• Swelling of ankles or feet

• Nausea

• Slow heart rate (bradycardia)

• Cold extremities

Serious Side Effects:

• Severe hypotension (very low blood pressure)

• Electrolyte imbalances (e.g., low potassium levels)

• Kidney dysfunction

• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling)

Precautions:

• Pregnancy: Not recommended, especially after the first trimester, due to potential harm to the fetus.

• Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use.

• Kidney/Liver Impairment: Use with caution; dosage adjustments may be necessary.

• Driving/Operating Machinery: May cause dizziness; avoid such activities until you know how the medication affects you.
