Description

Altraday Tablets often combine Levocetirizine, an antihistamine, and Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. These components work together to reduce inflammation and allergic reactions.

• Levocetirizine: Helps reduce allergy symptoms by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic reactions.

• Montelukast: Works by blocking leukotrienes, chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and narrowing of airways in conditions like asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Common Uses:

• Allergic Rhinitis: For treating symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itching associated with seasonal or perennial allergies.

• Asthma: Helps prevent asthma attacks by reducing airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction.

• Other allergic conditions: Sometimes used for skin allergies or hives.

Dosage and Administration:

• Usual Dose: Typically 1 tablet daily.

• When to take: Take it at the same time each day for convenience.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food.
