Description

Brophyle N Tablet is an oral medication combining two active ingredients:

• Acebrophylline (100 mg): A bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways, leading to widened air passages and improved airflow.

• Acetylcysteine (600 mg): A mucolytic agent that breaks down the structure of mucus, reducing its viscosity and facilitating easier clearance from the respiratory tract.

Uses:

• Management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

• Treatment of Asthma

• Alleviation of symptoms associated with Bronchitis

• Supportive therapy in Cystic Fibrosis

Dosage:

• Adults: Typically, 1 tablet once or twice daily, preferably after meals.

• Children: Dosage should be determined by a pediatrician based on age and weight.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal discomfort, rash, dizziness, headache.

• Serious: Allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, chest tightness.
