Description

Cilidin O 20mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Prevention of heart attacks and strokes

By combining Cilnidipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil, this medication effectively lowers blood pressure through complementary mechanisms:

• Cilnidipine: Blocks both L-type and N-type calcium channels, leading to vasodilation.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil: Blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels.

This dual action helps in reducing the risk of cardiovascular events associated with high blood pressure.

Uses:
