Description

CILOCHEM 10MG Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat hypertension and prevent complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage. The combination of Cilnidipine and Olmesartan provides a dual mechanism to control blood pressure more effectively than monotherapy.

• Cilnidipine: A calcium channel blocker that inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral vascular resistance.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil: An ARB that blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels, thereby promoting vasodilation and reducing blood pressure.

Common Side Effects
