Description

COLOSPA Tablet contains Mebeverine Hydrochloride, a direct-acting smooth muscle relaxant that helps relieve painful spasms of the gastrointestinal tract without disrupting normal bowel movement. It is commonly prescribed to manage symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), spastic colon, mucous colitis, and functional bowel disorders.

Unlike some anticholinergic drugs, COLOSPA acts selectively on the smooth muscle of the gut, offering symptom relief without causing systemic side effects like dryness or sedation.
