ATM 100 SYP

Description

ATM 100 Syrup is a pediatric formulation of Azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic available as 100 mg per 5 mL of syrup. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections in children, including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media (ear infections), pneumonia, bronchitis, and certain skin and soft tissue infections. Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth and spread of bacteria.

ATM 100 Syrup is generally taken once daily, often for a short course (3–5 days) depending on the condition being treated. It should be administered with or without food, and the full course should be completed even if symptoms improve early, to prevent bacterial resistance.

This medication should be used under the supervision of a healthcare provider, especially in children, and is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
