Uses

Azithral 500mg Tablet is effective in treating:

• Upper and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Ear infections (otitis media)

• Throat infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Eye infections (e.g., conjunctivitis)

• Typhoid fever

• Sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhea and chlamydia

It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth and preventing the spread of infection.

Dosage & Administration

• Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow it whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it.

• It is best taken on an empty stomach—either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

• Maintain evenly spaced intervals between doses.

• Complete the full course, even if you start feeling better.

Warnings & Precautions

• Allergy: Do not use if allergic to azithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics.

• Liver/Kidney Issues: Use with caution in patients with liver or severe kidney disease.
