Description

Amitone Plus Tablet is a prescription medication formulated to address both depression and anxiety. It combines two active ingredients:

• Amitriptyline (12.5 mg): A tricyclic antidepressant that helps balance certain neurotransmitters in the brain, improving mood and alleviating depressive symptoms.

• Chlordiazepoxide (5 mg): A benzodiazepine that acts as an anxiolytic, reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation.

This combination is particularly effective for individuals experiencing moderate to severe depression with associated anxiety. It may also be prescribed for conditions like insomnia, neuropathic pain, and migraine prevention.

Dosage and Administration:

• Dosage: Follow the prescribing doctor’s instructions.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• Timing: Can be taken with or without food; however, taking it with food may reduce stomach irritation.
