Description

Concor T 5 mg/40 mg Tablet is manufactured by Merck Ltd and is commonly prescribed for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Lowers elevated blood pressure, reducing the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

• Heart-Related Chest Pain (Angina): Relieves chest pain caused by reduced oxygen supply to the heart muscles.

• Heart Failure: Aids in improving heart function and symptoms.

Composition:

• Bisoprolol (5 mg): A cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic blocker that affects the body’s response to certain nerve impulses, particularly in the heart. This results in a slower heart rate and decreased blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): An angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict.

Dosage:

• Administration: Take as prescribed by your doctor.

• Form: Oral tablet.

• Frequency: Once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

• With or Without Food: Can be taken with or without food.
