Description

How It Works:

• Cilnidipine: A calcium channel blocker that inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure.

• Telmisartan: An ARB that blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels. By blocking this action, telmisartan helps relax blood vessels, further aiding in blood pressure reduction.

Dosage & Administration:

• Typical Adult Dosage: One tablet once daily, with or without food.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

• Consistency: Take at the same time each day to maintain steady blood pressure control.

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double up.

• Overdose: In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms may include dizziness, fainting, or rapid heartbeat.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Nausea

• Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles or feet)

• Back pain
