Description

Composition:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that dilates blood vessels, improving blood flow.

• Atenolol (50 mg): A beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces blood pressure.

Mechanism of Action:
Amodep AT Tablet combines two antihypertensive agents to lower blood pressure and alleviate chest pain. Amlodipine relaxes and widens blood vessels, enhancing blood flow, while Atenolol reduces heart rate and the force of heart contractions, thereby decreasing blood pressure and the heart’s oxygen demand.

Uses:

• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

• Treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain).
