Description

ALSITA GM 1 FORTE TABLETS are a fixed-dose combination of three antidiabetic agents:

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): A DPP-4 inhibitor that enhances insulin release and decreases glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.

• Metformin (1000 mg): A biguanide that reduces hepatic glucose production and increases insulin sensitivity.

• Glimepiride (1 mg): A sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells.

This combination therapy targets multiple pathways to lower blood glucose levels effectively. It is particularly beneficial for patients who require additional glycemic control beyond monotherapy with metformin or sulfonylureas.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take ALSITA GM 1 FORTE TABLETS once daily with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.

Common Side Effects:
