Description

Composition:

Mechanism of Action:

• Amlodipine works by inhibiting calcium ions from entering vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vessel relaxation and lowering of blood pressure.

• Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow. This helps reduce the resistance against which the heart has to pump, lowering blood pressure.

Uses:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure): By combining both medications, AMLOCHEM-5MG helps in managing elevated blood pressure levels, reducing the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems.
