Description

Clearzit Gel is a topical formulation used in the management of acne vulgaris, particularly effective for mild to moderate cases. It combines two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1% w/w): A lincomycin-class antibiotic that penetrates the skin to inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria primarily responsible for acne.

• Nicotinamide (4% w/w): Also known as Niacinamide, this form of Vitamin B3 possesses anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce redness and swelling associated with acne.

Together, these components work synergistically to:

• Inhibit bacterial growth on the skin.

• Reduce inflammation and redness.

• Regulate sebum production, preventing clogged pores.

• Prevent the formation of new acne lesions, including blackheads and whiteheads.

Clearzit Gel is typically applied once or twice daily to the affected areas after cleansing. It’s important to avoid contact with sensitive areas such as the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
