Description

Angicam Beta Tablet is a prescription medicine that combines two antihypertensive agents:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that helps relax and widen blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Atenolol (50 mg): A beta-blocker that reduces heart rate, cardiac workload, and blood pressure by blocking the action of certain natural substances like adrenaline.

This dual-action medication is commonly prescribed for:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure) – to reduce cardiovascular risk.

• Angina pectoris (chronic stable chest pain) – to improve blood flow and reduce heart strain.
