BANOCIDE FORTE Tablet – Diethylcarbamazine Citrate 100 mg
BANOCIDE FORTE is an antiparasitic medication containing Diethylcarbamazine Citrate (DEC) 100 mg, indicated for the treatment and management of lymphatic filariasis, loiasis, tropical pulmonary eosinophilia, and other systemic helminthic infections. It works by immobilizing and killing microfilariae (larval parasites) and is often used in national filariasis elimination programs.

• Composition (per tablet):

  • Diethylcarbamazine Citrate IP: 100 mg

• Indications:

  • Lymphatic filariasis (Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi)

  • Tropical pulmonary eosinophilia

  • Loiasis and other filarial infections

• Dosage: As directed by a physician (usually given over several days)

• Route: Oral

• Use Case: Prescribed in endemic regions as part of mass drug administration (MDA) or individual treatment

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C
