Description

Benitowa Beta 50 Tablet is formulated to treat hypertension by combining two antihypertensive agents:

• Benidipine (4 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, thereby lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): A beta-1 selective beta-blocker that decreases heart rate and myocardial contractility, lowering cardiac output and blood pressure.

This combination therapy not only lowers blood pressure but also reduces the risk of heart-related complications such as heart attacks and strokes.

Dosage and Administration:

• Dosage: As prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Administration: Take the tablet with or without food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Fatigue or weakness

• Headache

• Nausea or vomiting

• Cold hands and feet

• Ankle swelling

• Bradycardia (slow heart rate)

• Constipation
