Description

Cardiorostin 20C Capsule is a prescription lipid-lowering medication containing Rosuvastatin Calcium (20mg). Rosuvastatin belongs to the class of drugs known as statins or HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, which work by blocking the enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver.

It is commonly prescribed to:

• Lower LDL (bad cholesterol)

• Increase HDL (good cholesterol)

• Reduce triglycerides

• Prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes

This high-strength formulation is typically used in patients who have not achieved target cholesterol levels with lower doses or have a high risk of cardiovascular disease due to diabetes, hypertension, smoking, or family history.
