Description
Cosart-H Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of two antihypertensive agents:

Losartan (50 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels.

Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): A thiazide diuretic that increases urine production, helping to eliminate excess salt and water from the body, thereby reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.
This combination is effective in treating essential hypertension and may also be used to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure. It is particularly useful when monotherapy with either Losartan or Hydrochlorothiazide alone is inadequate.
