Description

Candiforce-100 Capsule is a prescription antifungal medication formulated with Itraconazole 100 mg, a broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent. It is primarily used for treating systemic and superficial fungal infections including:

• Oral thrush

• Vaginal candidiasis

• Dermatophytosis (e.g., athlete’s foot, ringworm)

• Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis)

• Histoplasmosis, aspergillosis, and other deep fungal infections

Itraconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes, leading to disruption of the fungal cell structure and ultimately its death.
