 Uses

Corbis 2.5 mg Tablet is utilized in the treatment of:

• Hypertension: Reduces blood pressure, lowering the risk of strokes and heart attacks.

• Angina: Alleviates chest pain by decreasing the heart’s oxygen demand.

• Chronic Heart Failure: Improves heart function and reduces symptoms associated with heart failure.

 Mechanism of Action

Bisoprolol selectively blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, leading to:

• Decreased heart rate

• Reduced myocardial contractility

• Lowered blood pressure

• Decreased oxygen consumption by the heart

 Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor, typically starting with 2.5 mg once daily.

• Administration: Take orally with or without food, at the same time each day.

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.

 Precautions

• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Use only if prescribed; consult your doctor.

• Driving & Operating Machinery: May cause dizziness; avoid such activities if affected.

• Liver & Kidney Issues: Use with caution; dosage adjustments may be necessary.

• Diabetes: May mask signs of low blood sugar; monitor levels closely.
