Uses:

Coolora Mouth Wash is utilized for the relief of various painful and inflammatory conditions affecting the mouth and throat, including:

• Mouth ulcers

• Oral mucositis

• Sore throat

• Sore gums or tongue

• Discomfort caused by dentures

• Pain following dental surgery

It is also beneficial for alleviating irritation from orthodontic appliances and soothing discomfort after tonsillectomy .

Mechanism of Action:

Benzydamine, the active component, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and local anesthetic properties. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing pain and inflammation. Additionally, it forms a protective coating over the mucosal surfaces, which aids in healing and provides symptomatic relief .

Dosage and Administration:

• Use the provided measuring cup to pour 15 ml of mouthwash.

• Rinse or gargle for 20–30 seconds.

• Spit out the mouthwash; do not swallow.

• Repeat every 1.5 to 3 hours as needed, or as directed by a healthcare professional .

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

• Avoid swallowing the mouthwash.

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless advised by a doctor.

• Consult a healthcare provider before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Avoid contact with eyes; in case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with water.
