BASALOG 100 IU/mL – Insulin Glargine Injection for Long-Lasting Glycemic Control
BASALOG contains Insulin Glargine (100 IU/mL), a long-acting human insulin analogue used for the once-daily treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It provides a consistent 24-hour basal insulin level with no significant peak, helping to maintain fasting and between-meal blood glucose levels.

BASALOG is typically administered once daily at the same time each day, either alone or in combination with oral antidiabetic drugs or short-acting insulins as part of a basal-bolus regimen.

• Composition:

  • Insulin Glargine (rDNA origin): 100 IU/mL

• Form: Vial (10 mL) or prefilled pen (e.g., BASALOG Pen)

• Indications:

  • Type 1 Diabetes: Used with short-acting insulin

  • Type 2 Diabetes: Used alone or with oral agents

• Dosage: Individualized; as directed by a physician

• Administration: Subcutaneous injection, preferably in the abdominal area, thigh, or upper arm

• Storage:
