Description

 Composition

• Clindamycin (1% w/w): An antibiotic that penetrates the skin to inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible for acne.

• Nicotinamide (4% w/w): A form of Vitamin B3 that possesses anti-inflammatory properties, reduces sebum production, and helps in lightening post-acne marks.

 Mechanism of Action

Clinsol Gel works through the synergistic effects of its active ingredients:

• Clindamycin: Penetrates the skin to kill acne-causing bacteria.

• Nicotinamide: Reduces skin inflammation, controls oil production, and aids in healing acne lesions.

Together, they address both the bacterial and inflammatory components of acne, leading to a reduction in pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads.

• Treatment of acne vulgaris (pimples, blackheads, whiteheads)

 Side Effects

Most side effects are mild and may include:

• Skin dryness or peeling

• Redness or irritation at the application site

• Burning or stinging sensation

• Itching

 Usage Instructions

• Cleanse the affected area with a mild water-based cleanser and pat dry.

• Apply a thin layer of Clinsol Gel to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor.

• Use sunscreen during the day, as the gel may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.

 Precautions
