Description

Arbitel-MT 50 Tablet ER is a combination antihypertensive medication manufactured by Micro Labs Ltd. Each tablet contains Telmisartan (40 mg), an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB), and Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg), a cardioselective beta-blocker. Telmisartan works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels, thereby relaxing and widening them to lower blood pressure. Metoprolol Succinate reduces heart rate and the force of heart contractions, contributing to decreased blood pressure.

Uses:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Helps lower elevated blood pressure, reducing the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

• Heart Failure: May be used to improve heart function and reduce symptoms in certain heart failure patients.

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage: Typically, one tablet daily, as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• With or Without Food: Can be taken with or without food.
