Asthalin AX Syrup (100 ml) is a combination medication used to treat productive cough associated with respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and bronchial asthma. The active ingredients in the syrup include:

• Ambroxol (30 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the airways, facilitating its removal.

• Levosalbutamol (1 mg/5 ml): A bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways, widening them and easing breathing.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg/5 ml): An expectorant that increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing the stickiness of mucus and aiding its removal.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and Children over 12 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3 to 4 times daily.

• Children 6 to 12 years: 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) 3 to 4 times daily.
