Description

ALERID-D Tablet combines Cetirizine and Phenylephrine to provide comprehensive relief from common cold and allergy symptoms. Cetirizine blocks histamine receptors, reducing allergic reactions, while Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages, alleviating congestion. This combination is effective in treating conditions such as:

• Allergic rhinitis

• Nasal congestion

• Hay fever

• Pollen and dust allergies

The medication typically provides relief within 15 to 60 minutes and its effects can last up to 24 hours.

 Dosage & Administration:

• Recommended Dose: 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the evening.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush.

• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose—do not double the dose.

 Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Drowsiness or sleepiness

• Headache

• Dry mouth

• Dizziness

• Nausea or vomiting

• Increased blood pressure

• Difficulty or painful urination
