Description

B Joy Plus Capsule is a prescription medication formulated to address conditions associated with excessive stomach acid and impaired gastric motility. It combines two active ingredients:

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that decreases the production of stomach acid, providing relief from heartburn and promoting healing of the esophagus lining.

• Domperidone (30 mg): A dopamine antagonist that enhances gastric motility, facilitating the movement of food through the stomach and reducing symptoms like nausea and bloating.

Therapeutic Uses:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Alleviates heartburn, acid regurgitation, and chest discomfort associated with GERD.

• Peptic Ulcers: Aids in the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers, particularly those caused by Helicobacter pylori infection or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) use.

Dosage and Administration:

• Recommended Dose: Typically, one capsule daily, taken on an empty stomach before breakfast.

• Administration: Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or split the capsule.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, flatulence, dry mouth.

• Central Nervous System: Headache, dizziness.
