BEMPESTA EZ TAB
₹280.00
Bempesta EZ is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing 180 mg of bempedoic acid and 10 mg of ezetimibe. Manufactured by Torrent Pharmaceuticals, it is used to lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia. This medication is typically prescribed when statin therapy is insufficient or not tolerated.
Description
Bempesta EZ 180mg/10mg Tablet combines two cholesterol-lowering agents:
-
Bempedoic Acid (180 mg): An ATP citrate lyase (ACL) inhibitor that reduces cholesterol production in the liver, leading to increased LDL receptor expression and enhanced clearance of LDL-C from the bloodstream.
-
Ezetimibe (10 mg): Works by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol from the small intestine, further lowering LDL-C levels.
Indications:
Bempesta EZ is indicated for:
-
Adults with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia who require additional LDL-C reduction.
-
Patients who are statin-intolerant or for whom statins are contraindicated.
