Description

Composition:

• Drotaverine (80 mg) – An antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles, alleviating spasms.

• Aceclofenac (100 mg) – An NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting certain chemical messengers.​

Mechanism of Action:

• Drotaverine inhibits phosphodiesterase IV, leading to increased cyclic AMP levels and subsequent smooth muscle relaxation.

• Aceclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are involved in inflammation and pain.​

Uses:

Aceclo Spas Tablet is commonly prescribed for:​

• Abdominal pain and cramps

• Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)

• Gastrointestinal discomfort

• Post-operative pain​

Dosage and Administration:

• Take the tablet as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• It is recommended to take the tablet with food to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.​
