Description

Composition:

• Aceclofenac – 200 mg (Sustained Release)​

Mechanism of Action:

Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are chemicals in the body involved in inflammation, pain, and fever. By reducing their production, Aceclofenac helps alleviate pain and inflammation.​

Uses:

Aceclo SR Tablet is commonly prescribed for:​

• Osteoarthritis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Musculoskeletal pain

• Post-operative pain​

Dosage and Administration:

• Take the tablet as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• It is recommended to take the tablet with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.​

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:​

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Diarrhea

• Dizziness

• Stomach pain

• Indigestion​

Serious side effects are rare but may include:​

• Gastrointestinal bleeding

• Liver dysfunction

• Kidney problems

• Allergic reactions​
