Description

ACEMIZ SR 200 Tablet is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that combines the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of Aceclofenac. The sustained-release (SR) formulation ensures a gradual release of the medication, providing extended relief from pain and inflammation.

Composition:

• Aceclofenac – 200 mg

Mechanism of Action: Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to a decrease in the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.​

Uses: ACEMIZ SR 200 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Osteoarthritis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Musculoskeletal pain

• Post-operative pain​

Dosage: The typical dosage is one tablet once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare provider. It is recommended to take the tablet with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.​

Side Effects: Common side effects may include:

• Nausea

• Dizziness

• Indigestion
