Description

Composition:

• Omeprazole (20 mg): A proton pump inhibitor that decreases stomach acid production.​

• Domperidone (10 mg): A prokinetic agent that enhances gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying.​

Mechanism of Action:

Aciloc RD 20 Tablet combines two active ingredients:​

• Omeprazole: Inhibits the proton pumps in the stomach lining, leading to a decrease in gastric acid secretion.​

• Domperidone: Blocks dopamine receptors in the gut, enhancing gastric motility and facilitating the movement of food through the stomach and intestines.​

This combination provides effective relief from symptoms associated with acid reflux and promotes healing of ulcers.​

Uses:

Aciloc RD 20 Tablet is used to treat:​

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): A condition where stomach acid frequently flows back into the esophagus, causing heartburn and potential injury to the esophageal lining.​

• Peptic Ulcers: Ulcers occurring in the stomach or upper part of the small intestine, often caused by H. pylori infection or prolonged use of NSAIDs.​

• Dyspepsia (Indigestion): A condition characterized by discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen.​

Dosage and Administration:

• Dosage: Typically, one tablet daily, preferably before meals, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.​

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.​

• Timing: It is best taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before food.​

Storage:

• Temperature: Store below 30°C.​

• Conditions: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.​

• Keep Out of Reach: Store away from children.​

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Nausea and vomiting​
