Description

Composition:

• Amoxicillin (200 mg/5 mL): A penicillin-class antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death.

• Clavulanic Acid (28.5 mg/5 mL): A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxicillin from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain bacteria.

Uses:
Advent Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections in children, including:

• Upper and lower respiratory tract infections

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Ear infections (otitis media)

• Dental infections

Side Effects:

• Diarrhea
