Description

Composition:

• Active Ingredient: Voglibose 0.3 mg

Mechanism of Action:
Voglibose inhibits intestinal enzymes responsible for breaking down complex carbohydrates into simple sugars like glucose. This action delays glucose absorption, preventing rapid increases in blood sugar levels after meals.

Uses:
Advog 0.3 mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Improving post-meal blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Adjunct to diet and exercise when other anti-diabetic medications are not sufficient

Dosage & Administration:

• Take one tablet orally just before each main meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and duration.

Common Side Effects:

• Diarrhea

• Flatulence (gas)

• Abdominal pain

• Nausea

• Vomiting
