Description

Composition:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow.

• Atenolol (50 mg): A beta-blocker that reduces heart rate and the heart’s workload, lowering blood pressure.

Mechanism of Action:

The combination of Amlodipine and Atenolol works synergistically to lower blood pressure and reduce the heart’s workload, making it more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. This dual-action helps in managing hypertension and preventing complications like heart attacks and strokes.

Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain).

Dosage:
