Description

Airtec SF 250 Instacap is manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd and is designed for inhalation use. It combines two active ingredients:

• Fluticasone Propionate: A corticosteroid that decreases inflammation in the airways, making breathing easier.

• Salmeterol: A long-acting beta-agonist that relaxes the muscles in the airways, helping to keep them open.

 Indications

This medication is prescribed for:

• Asthma: A chronic respiratory condition characterized by inflammation and narrowing of the airways, leading to wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing.

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): A progressive lung disease that causes breathing difficulties due to airflow obstruction.

 Contraindications

Airtec SF 250 Instacap should not be used if:

• You are allergic to fluticasone, salmeterol, or any other components of the medication.

• You have a history of severe hypersensitivity reactions to milk proteins (as the capsule may contain lactose).

 Dosage and Administration

• Dosage: As prescribed by your healthcare provider. Typically, one capsule is inhaled twice daily.

• Administration: Use with an appropriate inhalation device as directed. Do not swallow the capsule.
