Description

Alaspan Tablet is a second-generation antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms. By inhibiting histamine, Loratadine helps alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy or watery eyes associated with allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

Uses:

• Relieves symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g., sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes).

• Alleviates symptoms of urticaria (hives), including itching and redness.

Dosage:

• Take one tablet daily, with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it.

Side Effects:

• Common side effects may include headache, drowsiness, increased appetite, and tiredness.

• Serious side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it may increase drowsiness.
