Description

Composition:

• Epalrestat 150 mg

Epalrestat inhibits the enzyme aldose reductase, which is involved in converting glucose to sorbitol. In diabetic patients, excess sorbitol accumulates in nerve cells, contributing to nerve damage. By blocking this enzyme, Aldonil OD Tablet helps prevent sorbitol buildup, thereby reducing nerve damage and associated symptoms.

Uses:

• Management of diabetic neuropathy

Dosage and Administration:

• Typically taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.
