Description

ALERFIX-M TAB is a dual-action anti-allergic medication combining two active ingredients: Fexofenadine hydrochloride, a second-generation non-sedating antihistamine, and Montelukast sodium, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Fexofenadine works by blocking histamine receptors, preventing allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, and runny nose. Montelukast inhibits leukotrienes, chemicals involved in allergic and inflammatory responses, which helps reduce nasal congestion and airway inflammation. This combination makes ALERFIX-M effective for comprehensive allergy relief, particularly in allergic rhinitis and sometimes in mild asthma management.
