Description

Composition:

• Ambroxol (75 mg) – A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out.

• Levocetirizine (5 mg) – A second-generation antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

• Montelukast (10 mg) – A leukotriene receptor antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and nose.

Mechanism of Action:

• Ambroxol helps in the breakdown of mucus, facilitating its removal from the respiratory tract.

• Levocetirizine blocks the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.

• Montelukast inhibits leukotrienes, chemicals that contribute to inflammation and constriction of airways.

Uses:

• Treatment of respiratory tract disorders associated with thick mucus.

• Relief from symptoms of bronchial asthma, bronchitis, and common cold.
