Description

AMBRODIL Drops are a formulation used to treat dry, irritating cough and respiratory discomfort in children. They combine Ambroxol Hydrochloride, a mucolytic agent that helps break down and clear mucus, and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, a cough suppressant that works by reducing the urge to cough. This makes it particularly effective for non-productive coughs (coughs without mucus), often associated with colds, viral infections, or allergies.

Uses:

• Dry cough and throat irritation in children

• Cough due to viral infections like cold or flu

• Mucus clearance in cases of respiratory infections

Active Ingredients:

• Ambroxol Hydrochloride (5 mg per ml): A mucolytic that helps in breaking down thick mucus and clearing the airways.

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (1.25 mg per ml): A cough suppressant that works on the brain’s cough center to reduce the urge to cough.

Dosage:
