Description

AMIGABA Tablet is manufactured by Icon Life Sciences and is primarily indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain. This type of pain occurs when nerves are damaged, leading to sensations such as burning, tingling, or stabbing pain. Conditions like diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia (pain following shingles), or spinal cord injury can cause such pain.

The combination of Amitriptyline (10 mg) and Gabapentin (300 mg) works synergistically:

• Amitriptyline: A tricyclic antidepressant that increases the levels of neurotransmitters like serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which helps in modulating pain signals.

• Gabapentin: An anticonvulsant that binds to voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing nerve excitability and thereby alleviating pain.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet orally, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush.

• The dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerability.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness
