Mechanism of Action:

Amlip-5 Tablet works by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle cells. This action leads to vasodilation, reducing peripheral vascular resistance and lowering blood pressure. In angina, it decreases myocardial oxygen demand by reducing the heart’s workload.

Uses:

• Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Prevention of Angina Pectoris (chest pain)

Dosage and Administration:

• Typically taken once daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• Adhere to the prescribed dosage and schedule as directed by your healthcare provider.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Headache

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Fatigue

• Swelling of ankles or feet

• Nausea
