AMLOPIN M TAB

Description

Amlopin M Tablet is a prescription medication that combines two active ingredients:

• Amlodipine (5 mg) – a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg or 50 mg, extended-release) – a beta-blocker that reduces the heart rate and cardiac output, further controlling blood pressure and reducing chest pain.

This combination is commonly used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina (chronic chest pain), and may also be used in certain cases of heart failure. The dual mechanism of action offers improved cardiovascular outcomes in patients at risk for heart disease or stroke.

Amlopin M is typically taken once daily, with or without food. It should be taken at the same time each day for best results. Patients should not stop taking it abruptly without consulting a healthcare provider, especially those with heart conditions.
