Description

Amlovas H Tablet combines Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. Amlodipine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow, while Hydrochlorothiazide helps reduce blood pressure by eliminating excess salt and water through increased urine output. This dual action effectively lowers high blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Reduction in the risk of stroke and heart attack

Dosage & Administration:

• Take as prescribed by your doctor.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Preferably take in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness

• Headache

• Fatigue

• Ankle swelling

• Nausea

• Increased blood sugar levels

• Low potassium levels

Precautions:
