AMORFINE CREAM

Description

Amorfine Cream is an antifungal treatment manufactured by Indiabulls Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It contains 0.25% amorolfine, a substance that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting ergosterol production, amorolfine alters the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to leakage of cellular contents and ultimately the death of the fungus .

Uses:

Amorfine Cream is primarily used to manage various fungal infections, including:

• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)

• Tinea cruris (jock itch)

• Tinea corporis (ringworm)

• Tinea manuum (hand ringworm)

• Cutaneous candidiasis

• Pityriasis versicolor

Dosage and Application:

For optimal results, apply a thin layer of Amorfine Cream to the affected area once or twice a week, as directed by your healthcare provider. Ensure the area is clean and dry before application. Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes, and open wounds. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream .

Side Effects:
